Hi there, lovely! Today we’re celebrating the new Altenew Love & Friendship Stamps/Dies/Stencils/Embossing Folders release! If you arrived from Amber Rain Davis’ blog, you’re right on track. If you want to hop along from the beginning, visit the Altenew Card Blog. Check the bottom of this post for the full blog hop list!

I have four cards to share today, three of them featuring blooms from the Queen Anemone stamp set which I have fallen in love with!

Just Checking In…

I started off my first card by stamping a few blooms and leaves from the Queen Anemone stamp set using the following Crisp Dye ink colors:

I used the coordinating dies to cut out the images and then set them aside.

Next, I stamped a vase from the Versatile Vases 2 stamp set in Aqualicious ink onto an A2-sized panel. I used a mask from the coordinating mask stencil set to mask the image as I used a blending brush to ink blend a halo of Aqualicious around the vase.

To finish, I used foam tape to adhere the blooms and leaves to the panel, and then adhered a strip with a stamped sentiment from the Versatile Vases 2 stamp set. Finally, I adhered the card front to an A2-sized card base.

Thank You

For my second card, I used the new Slim Deco Cover Die Set to create a frame for more Queen Anemone flowers. This time, the blooms are stamped with:

For the frame, I die cut from white cardstock and then inked it up with embossing ink by taking the ink pad directly to the die cut. I poured a brassy embossing powder over the die cut, hit with a heat gun, and then repeated the process for a second smoother layer of embossing powder.

I adhered the frame to a panel of white cardstock and then used foam tape to adhere the blooms and leaves. Next, I stamped a sentiment from the new Tall Foliage stamp set and then finished off by adhering the card front to a card base.

Dearest Friend

For my third card, I simply used white embossing powder to heat emboss a long leafy branch and a sentiment from the Tall Foliage stamp set onto a panel of teal cardstock. I added shading with a dark teal colored pencil and then finished by adhering the card front to a card base.

Love You

For my last card today, I began again with Queen Anemone blooms, this time stamped in:

Next, I stamped leaves from the Tall Foliage stamp set in Lime and then used the coordinating dies to cut them out.

I adhered the leaves to an A2-sized piece of white cardstock and then used the Fine Frames Cover die to create a frame which I adhered to the panel with foam tape. I stamped a sentiment from the Tall Foliage set and then adhered the blooms with foam tape. To finish, I adhered the card front to a card base.

  1. All four cards are very pretty. My favorite would have to be the slim line with the queen anemone flowers and the deco die cut background. I adore the colors.

  2. i really like each of the cards; they are so different and there is much to like about each. The color choices in the first one, the simplicity of the white embossed tall foliage on the teal card, the anemones arranged with the deco cover die, and probably my favorite ,the last one with the stamped tall foliage and the anemones in and around the fine frames. I love the dimension you worked in. Thanks for all the inspiration!

  3. Wonderful cards and perfect sentiments for this time when we are unable to see friends and Family. These cards will be day brighteners for the recipients!
    Thanks for sharing.

  4. I think I am liking the stamped layering flowers better than the die cut layering flowers…A softer look. Beautiful cards. Thank you for sharing.
