Hi there, I hope your day is going well!
Today I have a clean and simple card for you, featuring some recent products from The Stamp Market. They just released this beautiful Fantastic Foliage die in early August, and the Hey Hi Hello There dies were released last month.
I started by cutting strips of colored cardstock using the 1/8″ Quick Strips die. Next, I added tape runner adhesive over a panel of scrap cardstock. I adhered the cardstock strips to the panel, squishing them right up against each other and in a rainbow-ish order. Then I ran the panel through my die cut machine with the “Hi” die from the Hey Hi Hello There die set. Because I had to cut through two layers of cardstock (the color cardstock layer as well as the layer the strips were adhered to), I used a metal shim in my die cutting sandwich to make sure I got a clean cut.
Because I loved the colorful stripes of the sentiment so much, I decided not to use any color in the background. So, I die cut the Fantastic Foliage leaf out of white cardstock and then adhered it to a white A2-sized panel. I adhered the stem using liquid glue, and then added some small bits of foam tape behind the leaves that would not be behind the sentiment. I did not actually remove the release paper from the foam tape so that the leaves actually flip up from the panel a bit more organically.
To finish, I added some small strips of foam tape behind the sentiment and punctuation and adhered them to the background, and then I adhered the background to an A2-sized card base.
Thank you so much for visiting!

Great card
