Hi there! The big day has finally come and the new color collection from Concord & 9th is available now! Check out all of the beautiful new colors in the Color Gallery.
For my card, which I shared over on Instagram on Tuesday, I used a favorite color combination (Grapefruit, Buttercup, Sprout, and Aqua Sky) and the new Hey Bestie stamp and die bundle. I also used an old floral stamp from the Fine Line Florals stamp set, one of my old favorites.
I began by stamping the hexagonal “hey bestie” stamp four times, once in each color, onto Neenah Solar White 80# Classic Crest cardstock. Using the coordinating dies, I cut out the sentiments and set them aside.
Next I used the same colors to stamp, again in each color, the Fine Line Floral outline image. Using the same coordinating die, I cut out a hexagon from each floral image.
To assemble the card, I used foam tape to adhere the four sentiments to an A2-sized piece of of Neenah Solar White. Then I adhered the floral patterned hexagons with liquid glue. I trimmed off the parts of the hexagons that were hanging off the edge, and then took a teeny piece of the trimmed-off blue hexagon and stuck it at the top of the panel to fill in a little gap in the pattern. Finally, I adhered the card front to an A2-sized card base and added a few Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear Confetti Mix embellishments.
