Well that kind of says it all, doesn’t it?
Today I’ve got a card featuring the Floral Diamond Stamp and Die Bundle from The Stamp Market and some pretty peach and pink dies.
I started by positioning an A2-sized piece of Neenah Solar White 80# Classic Crest cardstock and the diamond stamp into a Misti. Using Coral Reef ink, I stamped the diamond in the center of the panel. Then I shifted the panel to the left and stamped again in Peach ink, slightly overlapping the coral diamond. I shifted the panel back over to the left, and stamped in Peach again. I repeated the shifting to the left and to the right, this time stamping in Blush Pink ink.
Next, I used the floral outline stamp to stamp, in embossing ink, around the center diamond on the panel (I actually tried to stamp in Delicata Gold Shimmer ink first, but found that it was too light, so I decided to heat emboss) and then heat embossed with Judikins Translucent Gold embossing powder. Then, I masked off the outside edges of the Peach diamonds and then heat embossed the same floral, flipped 180 degrees, around the Blush Pink diamonds. Because I hadn’t stamped in Delicata, the heat embossing looks lighter, which I actually ended up liking.
Then I stamped another Coral Reef diamond onto a separate piece of cardstock. I stamped the sentiment over top, in black pigment ink, and used the coordinating die to cut out the diamond. One side at a time, I rubbed an edge of the diamond over a Wow! Embossing Pad and then dipped the edge in Judikins Translucent Gold embossing powder and melted it with a heat gun. I repeated this three more times until all four edges were heat embossed.
To assemble the card, I adhered the sentiment diamond to panel with foam tape and then trimmed 1/8″ off each side of the panel before adhering it, again with foam tape, to an A2-sized card base.
Thank you so much for visiting!
Great card
