Hi there, I hope you’re having a good week!
Today I’ve got a quick watercolor card using some gorgeous items from The Stamp Market. I’ve had the beautiful Ready To Bloom Card Cover die* sitting on my desk for over a month and I finally got to play with it!
I started by using the cover die on a piece of Canson XL watercolor paper. This single die cuts out a cluster of connected flowers as well as a number of individual flowers.
For a coloring medium, I smooshed The Stamp Market’s Bubble Gum and Melon Orange inks onto my glass work surface. Using a waterbrush pen, I picked up the orange ink and loosely colored the center of a flower. Then I added pink to the petals. I repeated this until all the flowers were colored and then adhered them to an A2-sized piece of Neenah Solar white. I used foam tape to adhere most of the flowers and then adhered a few stray flowers flush to the card base, especially around the sentiment which is a die from the Hugs Hello Thanks die set. The sentiment is adhered to a few of the flowers popped up with foam tape so that it floats above the card a bit.
To finish, I adhered the card front to an A2-sized card base.
Thanks so much for visiting!
