Hi there!
Here’s a clean and simple card featuring the June Greenhouse Society stamp set from Technique Tuesday. Hello Hollyhocks is quick and easy to color up and there are some sweet little critters, too!
I started by using Copic-friendly Hero Arts Intense Black ink to stamp the floral image and sweet butterfly onto an A2-sized piece of Neenah Solar White cardstock. Then I used R30, R32, R35, and R37 to color the blooms, starting with a solid layer of the lightest color and then gradually adding in darker and darker shades to create a bit of depth. I used YG21, YG23, and YG25 for the leaves, and for the butterfly I used B12 and BF2.
To create the shadows, I outlined both images with W4 and then blended it out with W2 and then blended out again with W0.
I stamped the sentiment in Versafine Clair Nocturne ink and then trimmed the panel down to 4”x5.25” before backing it with foam tape and adhering it to an A2-sized card base.
Thank you for visiting!
