Hi there, I hope you’re having a lovely day!
I picked up this sweet die when I was in Seattle at the end of January and I’m finally letting this little kitty out to play.
I started by die cutting the Whittle Cat from Poppy Stamps four times, once out of Neenah Solar White 80# Classic Crest cardstock, and three times out of scrap 110# white cardstock. The die cuts the little slits that make up the texture on the cat’s back and tail, as well as his eyes, nose, and whiskers.
I did some quick coloring of the Neenah die cut using Copic YR20, E21, E23, E25, and E27 and then I stacked and adhered all four die cuts together, with the colored piece on top.
Using the You’re A Purrfect Friend wood block stamp from Impress Cards and Crafts, I stamped the sentiment in Versafine Clair Nocturne ink onto a 4bar sized piece of Neenah Solar White. Then I adhered the kitty and drew in small hearts as pawprints with a black Copic 0.03 Multiliner pen. To finish the card, I adhered the card front to an A2-sized card base.
Thanks so much for visiting!
Delightful!
