Hi there!
Today’s card is my second using the Stained Glass Window stamp set from Altenew’s January 2019 release. I thought I’d go for a stained glass effect, just like the stamp set name suggests ;p
I started by using Wow! Embossing Pad and Ranger Liquid Platinum embossing powder to heat emboss the image onto vellum. Then I used Copics to color on the back side of the vellum. I used RV17 and RV19 to color the tulips and the small dots, YG45 and G2 to color the leaves, and B04 to color the background.
I used the coordinating die cut to cut a circle from an A2-sized panel of Neenah Solar White 80# Classic Crest cardstock and then adhered the vellum to the back of that piece so that the colored area was visible through the circle.
I used the “love” die from the Script Words die set to die cut “love” four times, once from Neenah Solar White and three times from scrap 110# cardstock. I colored the Neenah layer with RV19 and then stacked and adhered all four die cuts together.
I stamped the “hello” in Versafine Clair Nocturne ink onto the card front and then adhered the love sentiment. To finish, I adhered the card front to an A2-sized card base.
Thanks for swinging by!
