Today I pulled out a Simon Says Stamp stamp set that came as a free-with-purchase a couple of months ago and has been sitting on my desk waiting for some play time. I really like the pretty patterned elements in this stamp set!
I started by using a t-square ruler and a pen to mark the middle of an A2-sized piece of Neenah Solar White 80# Classic Crest cardstock. I placed the large stamp from the Deco Borders and Corners stamp set onto a long acrylic block, inked it with Altenew Caribbean Sky, and then used the pen mark as a guide to stamp onto the center of the panel. Then I inked the stamp with Altenew Persian Blue and repeated the stamping on either side, and then did the same with Altenew Sapphire.
Using sentiments from the same stamp set and a scrap piece of Neenah Solar White, I stamped the large sentiment in Sapphire and the smaller part of the sentiment in Versafine Clair Nocturne ink. I trimmed the strip down, backed it with foam tape, and then adhered it to the background. To finish, I adhered the card front to an A2-sized card base.
