Hi there, I hope you’re having a good day!
Today I’m sharing some cute critters from Hello Bluebird. These little guys have been sitting neglected in my stash for a couple of months but I finally had a chance to color them up. The deer with the stack of books may be my all-time favorite critter!
I used the Fall Friends stamp set and stamped the bunny and deer in Copic-friendly Hero Arts Intense Black ink onto Neenah Solar White 80# Classic Crest cardstock. For the pink dresses and scarf I used R20, R22, and R24. For the blue sweater and scarf I used BG10, BG53, and BG57. For the bunny’s fur, I used E000 and E21 and for the deer’s fur, I used E21, E23, E25, and E27. I used a bit of W1 and W3 for the pages of the books, and E70 and E74 for the spines. I drew a little heart on the coffee cup with an 0.03 black Copic Multiliner pen and colored it in with R24. I cute out the cuties with a Brother ScanNCut2 and then used a white Sakura Gelly Roll pen to add dots to the scarves.
For the background I blended Tumbled Glass, Broken China, and Chipped Sapphire Distress Inks onto an A2-sized piece of Strathmore Bristol Smooth Cardstock. Then I die cute the frame and tress, also from Neenah Solar White, using the Gallery Frame #1 die set and the Birch Trees die set.
To assemble the card I adhered the birch trees directly to the background and then used foam tape to adhere the frame and critters. I also used foam tape to adhere the sentiment, which I stamped in Versafine Claire Nocturne ink. Finally, I adhered the card front to an A2-sized card base
Thanks so much for visiting!
