Hello! I fell behind again so I’m catching up with a few posts today 🙂
This card uses a pretty stamp that a crafty friend introduced me to a couple of months ago. She gave me a panel stamped with it and I loved it so much that I decided to purchase it myself. I think it’s so perfect for this global crafty community that we’re a part of!
I started by stamping the Stampendous Blooming Globe cling stamp onto an A2-sized piece of Neenah Solar White 80# Classic Crest cardstock in Copic-friendly Hero Arts Intense Black ink. Then I used Copics to color:
- Darker red flowers: R32, R35, RV29
- Lighter flowers: R11, R21, R32
- Centers of all the flowers: Y15
- Leaves: YG01, YG23
- Continents: YG61, G82
- Ocean: B41, B32, B23
- Globe stand: C1, C3
- Bird: E33, E53, R35
For the sentiment, I die cut the Wishing word from black 110# Recollections cardstock using the Simon Says Stamp Wishing die. “We lived closer” is from the Simon Says Stamp Sending and Wishing stamp set. There is actually more to this stamp, but I masked the second line off before inking it with Versafine Clair Nocturne ink.
To assemble the card I adhered the die cut with liquid glue and then used foam tape to pop up the rest of the sentiment. I finished by adhering the card front to an A2-sized card base.
Thanks for coming by!
