Hi there, I hope your weekend is getting off to a good start!
Today I’ve colored up another sweet image from Elizabeth Craft Designs and paired it with a sentiment from Concord and 9th, and an embossing folder from Alexandra Renke. I wish you could see the snow texture in person. It’s amazing!
I started by stamping one of the penguin images from Elizabeth Craft Designs’ Penguins stamp set in Copic-friendly Hero Arts Intense Black ink onto Neenah Solar White 80# Classic Crest cardstock. I colored the penguin with C1, C3, C5. and C7, with a bit of Y17 for his beak and dots of black Sakura Glaze pen over his eyes. For his hat I used V000, RV63, V06, and RV66, with a bit of C1 and C3 on the pom pom. I used E21 and B32 for the bird, and E35 and E37 for the sled. I used the coordinating die cuts to cut out the image and then set it aside.
The background is an A2-sized piece of Neenah Solar White which I put in an Alexandra Renke Snowfall embossing folder and ran through my Gemini Jr. The texture is so detailed and it’s amazing!
I used a My Favorite Things Snow Drifts die to cut a hillside out of Neenah Solar White. Onto that I stamped a sentiment from the Concord and 9th Snow Flurry stamp set using Versafine Clair Nocturne ink.
To assemble the card I adhered the snow drift to the snowy background using foam tape. Then I adhered the penguin, also using foam tame. To finish, I adhered the card front to an A2-sized card base.
Thanks so much for visiting!
