Hi there, I hope you’re having a great week!
I’m super excited for today because I get to go out on the San Francisco Bay aboard the USS Potomac for a few hours with my team from work. It’s a nice treat to be away from my desk and I absolutely LOVE being on the water. So, it seemed like perfect timing to make and share this card!
I stamped the large wreath image from Simon Says Stamp’s Mele Kalikimaka stamp set in Copic-friendly Hero Arts Intense Black ink onto an A2-sized piece of Neenah Solar White 80# Classic Crest cardstock. Then, I colored 🙂
I used a whole bunch of colors, too many to list. I went for very light colors, some Earths, some Reds, and some Yellow Reds for the shells. For the Starfish I used some deeper yellows. For the ribbon I used B00-B05.
I used B04 to color the sentiment die cut which is from the Believe die set, also from Simon Says Stamp. I adhered it to the shadow die cut which I cut out of My Favorite Things Heavyweight Vellum. This is an excellent heavy vellum (105lb.!) that I’m using for the first time. I’m so glad I found it!
The stamped the sentiment, from the Believe stamp set, in Versafine Clair Nocturne ink. To finish, I adhered the card front to an A2-sized card base.
Thanks so much for coming by!
