Hi there and happy happy happy Friday!  Can you tell I’m so glad it’s Friday? ;p

Today I’m sharing a card using an image that a new crafty friend gave to me.  It’s the Bloom Globe stamp from Stampendous.  The sentiment is from Concord and 9th’s City Stacks stamp set.  I just love the idea of an imaginary neighborhood filled with crafty friends!

I started by coloring the globe image with Copics.  I used Y15, Y17, and YR16 for the yellow and orange flowers, and R30, R32, and R35 for the pink flowers.  I used YG21, YG23, and YG25 for the leaves. For the continents, I used YG61 and YG63, and for the ocean, I used B32 and B34.  I used the same blues for the bird’s chest and E50 and E53 for the rest of its body.  Finally, I used C2, C3, and C5 for the stand.

I stamped the sentiment on an A2-sized piece of Neenah Solar White 80# Classic Crest cardstock in Versafine Clair Nocturn ink.  Then I cut out the globe using a Brother ScanNCut2, backed it with foam tape, and adhered it to the card front.  To finish, I adhered the card front to an A2-sized card base.

Thanks for coming by!
