If Flowers Could Hug I Would Send You A Thousand

Hi there and happy Thursday, I hope your week is going well!

Today’s card uses a die that I’ve had on my wishlist for quite a while and I finally splurged for it during Pinkfresh Studio’s sale over the weekend.  It’s the beautifully simple Botanical Branch die.

I cut the die from an A2-sized piece of Neenah Solar White #80 Classic Crest cardstock.  I saved the positive cut for another time because today I just wanted to use the negative space.  I stamped the sentiment, which is from the Lovely stamp set from Ellen Huston’s Essentials By Ellen line, in Altenew’s Starlight ink which is a dark blue.

Then I adhered the card front to an extra water-stamped background that I made when I made this I Love You card a couple of days ago.  I like how the ombre colors show through, along with the water-stamped pattern which is from Simon Says Stamp’s Center Cut Kaleidoscope cling stamp.

To finish, I adhered the card front to an A2-sized card base.
