Hi there and happy Wednesday!
Today’s card features several items from Concord & 9th: the Lovely Blossoms Turnabout stamp set, the Kindhearted stamp set, the Happy Card Frame die set, and the Kind Card Frame-Add-on Die.
I started by stamping the Lovely Blossoms Turnabout stamp four times onto an A2-sized piece of Neenah Solar White #80 Classic Crest cardstock. I chose four Altenew inks: Blush, Rouge, Frayed Leaf, and Forest Glades. I love what a pretty background this Turnabout stamp makes!
For the sentiment and frame, I used the frame from the Happy Card Frame die set and the Kind Card add-on together and cute the frame/sentiment combo out of Neenah Solar White. Then I did it three more times out of heavy #110 white Recollections card stock. I used Copic markers (R20, R22, and R24) to color in the sentiment, blending to create an ombre effect. Then I stacked and adhered all four die cuts together using a Zig 2-Way Glue Pen.
I stamped the “people are the best” sentiment in Versamark Onyx Black ink onto a thin banner of Neenah Solar white and then cut a fishtail on one end. I was able to slide the other end just beneath the top layer of the stacked die cuts. I backed the banner with foam tape, applied Zig adhesive to the back of the die cut and then adhered them to the background.
To finish, I adhered the card front to an A2-sized card base.
