Hi there and happy Monday!
Today I’m sharing another wedding card, this time using the Floral Bliss and the Congratulations stamp sets from Simon Says Stamp.
I started with an A2-sized piece of Strathmore Bristol Smooth cardstock. I stamped the floral spray twice in Versamark ink, poured Ranger Super Fine Gold embossing powder over top, and hit it with a heat gun.
To add color, I smooshed Worn Lipstick, Wild Honey, Squeezed Lemonade, and Bundled Sage Distress Oxide inks onto my work surface, a Tonic Glass Media Mat, and then used a Pentel Aquash Waterbrush to watercolor the flowers and leaves.
While the ink was drying, I stamped the spray of flowers twice in black ink onto a piece of Avery 6465 Removable ID Label to create masks. Since I don’t own the coordinating dies, I cut them out with a Brother ScanNCut2 though I think these would have been easy enough to fussy cut. I then placed the masks over the images I’d colored so that I could add some splatter to the background. I used a Round 6 paintbrush to pick up some watered-down Bundled Sage and flicked it onto the card front.
Then I heat embossed the sentiment, using the same ink and embossing powder, onto a strip of vellum. I wrapped the vellum around the card front and adhered it on the back side with a Tombow Mono Dots Adhesive tape runner. Finally, I adhered the card front to an A2-sized card base.
Thanks so much for swinging by!
Beautiful and Inspiring! Thank you!
