Hi there, I hope you’re having a good day!
Today I’m sharing a shaker card using the McGregor’s Garden stamp set from Hello Bluebird. I think I’ve only ever made two shaker cards before, but when I saw all these little vegetable images, I had to give it another shot.
I started by stamping all of the images onto Neenah Solar White #80 Classic Crest cardstock in Copic-friendly Hero Arts Intense Black ink. Then I colored them all in with a variety of colors. The bunny is E50 and E53, with a bit of R30 for the ears. I cut all of the pieces out using a Brother ScanNCut2 and set them aside.
For the background, I blended Twisted Citron, Tumbled Glass, and Squeezed Lemonade Distress Inks onto an A2-sized piece of Strathmore Bristol Smoothe cardstock, creating a very loose scene of a grassy hill, blue sky, and a yellow sun. Then I used the largest die from My Favorite Things’ Stitched Arch STAX die set. I adhered the fallout piece to another panel of cardstock and added foam tape around the arched shape and over the rest of that panel.
I put all but six little vegetables into the open space and then laid a piece of Hero Arts acetate over it to seal them in. Then I adhered the die cut panel over the acetate.
I stamped the sentiment in Versafine Onyx Black ink. Then I adhered the bunny and the remaining six vegetables over the panel and acetate, arcing the veggies so it looks like she’s juggling them.
Finally, I adhered the entire piece to an A2-sized card base.
Thank you so much for visiting!
