Hi there, I hope you’re enjoying your day!
Today’s card features the Critter Concert stamp set and the Outside In Stitched Rectangle die set, both from Lawn Fawn.
I started by stamping all of the critter and musical images in Copic-friendly Gina K. Designs Amalgam black ink onto Neenah Solar White #80 Classic Crest cardstock. Then, I used Copics to color them all in. I used Y15, Y35, Y38, YR24, E31, E35, E37, W1, W3, W5, W7, C1, and C3. I also used a rag and Copic Blending solution to create the speckled texture on the bear and the chick. When I finished coloring, I cut out the images using a Brother ScanNCut2 and set them aside.
The background is an A2-sized piece of Strathmore Bristol Smoothe cardstock. I used foam blending tools to blend on Twisted Citron and Tumbled Glass Distress Inks to mimic grass and sky.
While the background was drying, I used the two largest dies from the Outside In Stitched Rectangle set to cut out a stitched frame from the same Neenah cardstock. I backed it with foam tape and then adhered it to the background.
Then I laid out the critters and decided where I wanted to stamp the sentiment. I used Versafine Onyx black ink to stamp the sentiment and a pair of eighth notes before I began adhering the animals and music stand. The fox and the music stand are glued flush to the card while the rest of the images are backed with foam tape.
To finish, I adhered the card front to an A2-sized card base.
Thanks so much for visiting!
