Hello there!
I was in the mood for a light and bright card today and after spending some time on a different card, which I’ll get to share on Friday, I shifted gears to put together this quick card using one of my favorite color combinations. Today’s card features the Flower Explosion background stamp and the Summertime die from Simon Says Stamp.
I started by stamping the background in Altenew’s Aqualicious ink onto an A2-sized piece of Neenah Solar White #80 Classic Crest cardstock.
Then I die cut the sentiment out of the same type of cardstock and used a foam blending tool to ink the fallout letters with Abandoned Coral Distress Oxide ink. I covered a piece of scrap cardstock with Tombow Mono Dots Adhesive (from a tape runner) and then adhered it to the back of the positive cut. I pieced in the letters and then adhered the die cut to the background. To finish, I adhered the card front to an A2-sized card base. Easy peasy!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
