Hi there, I hope you’re having a great day!
Today’s card features the Beautiful Flowers and the Believe stamp sets from Simon Says Stamp. I love this beautifully detailed stamp because it gives lots of hints on where to shade!
I started by stamping the large flower spray in Copic-friendly Hero Arts Intense black ink onto an A2-sized piece of Neenah Solar White 80# Classic Crest cardstock. I also stamped three individual flower images from the set onto a separate piece of cardstock.
I colored only the leaves and buds on the large spray of flowers. I used YG21, YG23, and YG17, and a bit of YR24 on the buds. Then I colored the individual flowers using Y00, Y11, Y13, and Y19. I used a black Sakura Glaze pen to add a bit of shine and dimension to the stamen and then cut out the three flowers using a Brother ScanNCut2.
I stamped the sentiment in Versafine Black Onyx ink and then adhered the three individual flowers over their corresponding images in the spray (they match up perfectly). I glued the left and right flowers flush to the card front and popped up the middle flower using foam tape.
To finish, I adhered the card front to an A2-sized card base.
Thanks so much for visiting!
Beautiful coloring! I love the bright yellow on the stark white background. Gorgeous!

Thank you! Halfway through I started questioning my choice of yellow, but in the end I like how it turned out. Phew!
