Hi there!
Today’s card uses the You Are Enough stamp set from Concord and 9th. I’ve had my eye on this set for a while and recently found it on sale on their site.
I’m still playing along with the The Daily Marker’s 30-Day Coloring Challenge so rather than use the layering stamps to add depth to this flower, I pulled out my Tombow Dual Brush Pen markers.
I stamped the image and sentiment in Versafine Black Onyx ink onto an A2-sized piece of Strathmore Bristol Smooth cardstock. Then, using three orange markers (905, 925, and 933) and a fine point Pentel Aquash waterbrush pen, I colored in the image. I started from the center of the flower with the lightest marker, adding a bit of color and then pulling it out to the edges of the flower using the waterbrush pen. Then I gradually added the darker colors and blended them out with the waterbrush pen.
To finish, I colored the stem using 076 and then adhered the card front to an A2-sized card base.
Thanks for visiting!
Beautiful, simple card! Great coloring on your flower. I really like the colors you used.
