Hi there!
Today I’m sharing a card using stamps and dies from My Favorite Things: Plentiful Petals stamps and dies, Friend Duo Die-Namics, and Anything-but-Basic Friendship stamps.
I started by stamping the flower images and leaves onto Neenah Solar White #80 Classic Crest cardstock. I used a selection of Altenew ink colors: Orange Cream, Heart Beat, Coral Bliss, Pink Pearl, Parrot, and Olive. I cut the images out using the coordinating dies and then arranged and adhered them to a panel of the same cardstock that I’d trimmed using the largest die from the Lawn Fawn Outside In Stitched Rectangles die set.
I cut the “friend” sentiment from Recollections Kraft cardstock three times so that I could stack them. However, since the flowers were overlapping on the card, I didn’t need as much depth for the first few letters in the sentiment. So, I trimmed one die cut down to “end,” and another down to “iend” so that when I adhered all three together, I had different levels of depth to compensate for the height of the flowers and leaves.
I adhered the die cut to the panel and then stamped the sentiment in VersaMark Black Onyx ink. To finish, I adhered the panel to an A2-sized piece of Kraft cardstock and then adhered that, in turn, to an A2-sized card base.
Thanks for swinging by!
