Hey There | Hero Arts June 2025 Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hello and welcome! We’re blog hopping today to celebrate the June Hero Studio collection. These sets are available by subscription so if you’re not already a monthly subscriber, be sure to check out all of the Hero Studio subscriptions options!

This month’s theme, Coastal Vibes, is one of my favorites! I love all the summery beachy supplies and when I saw the cute tote and baguette dies, I knew I had to make a tote full of bread, lol. There are so many cute elements in Card Kit of the Month but I do love bread and flowers!

Hey There

My first card features the May Card Kit of the Month. I die cut the beach tote elements and contents from Fawn, Coral, Waterfall, Lavender, and Peridot cardstock (the first three colors are included in the kit. I used blending brushes and several ink colors to add a bit of shading to each element; Fawn for the tote and bread, Pale Tomato for the scarf, Paradise for the bottom of the tote, and Orchid for the flowers.

Next, I used Arctic ink to stamp the June Cling of the Month: Seaside Stripe onto a piece of Seaside cardstock (included in the kit).

To assemble the card, I glued the striped panel to the bottom of a 4.25″ x 5.5″ panel white cardstock and then used foam tape and glue to adhere the tote bag and all of it’s contents to the panel. I added a small sentiment created with the bonus stamp and die set (available when you purchase The Whole Studio) and then glued the card front to a card base.

Sending Hugs

My second card features the beautiful June Layering Stencils of the Month: Hydrangea set.

For this quick and easy card, I started with a 4.25″ x 5.5″ panel of Windy cardstock and then, one by one, positioned and inked blended over each layer of the stencil set. For the flowers I used Dusty Blue and Orchid for the petals and Aquatic for the flower centers. The leaves are Kiwi and Fresh Lawn. To finish, I added a stamped and die cut sentiment, again made with the bonus stamp and die set (available when you purchase The Whole Studio) and then glued the card front to a card base.

Just Because Cards, Thank You Cards

Thank You | Hero Arts April 2025 Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hello and welcome! We’re blog hopping today to celebrate the April Hero Studio collection. These sets are available by subscription so if you’re not already a monthly subscriber, be sure to check out all of the Hero Studio subscriptions options!

Thank You

My first card features the April Card Kit of the Month. This kit is packed with lush selection of stamps, coordinating dies, standalone dies, cardstock, and embellishments!

For this card I stamped the large terrarium image in Copic-friendly Intens-ified Black Ink onto a 4.25″ x 5″ panel of Arctic cardstock. I colored the image in with a selection of Copic markers and then set the panel aside.

Next, I used the arched die to cut a window from a 4.25″ x 5.5″ panel of Dove White cardstock and I used the terrarium base die to cut the wooden base from the Fawn cardstock included in the kit. I also stamped and die cut the sentiment.

To assemble the card, I glued the window panel over the Arctic panel and then used foam tape to adhere the base of the terrarium. To finish, I adhered the sentiment and then glued the card front to a card base.

Hello

My second card features new leafy dies from the April Die Set of the Month.

For this card I used one of the dies to cut three vibrant leaves from an alcohol-inked panel in my stash. Next, I used the sentiment dies to cut the detailed sentiment from Coral cardstock and the shadow layer from Dove White cardstock and then I glued the pieces together.

To assemble the card, I used foam tape to adhere the leaves and sentiment to an arched piece of Dove White cardstock made with the arched die in the Card Kit of the Month. Then I used more foam tape to adhere the arched piece to a 4.25″ x 5.5″ panel of Paradise cardstock. To finish, I glued the card front to a card base.

Birthday Cards, Celebration Cards

Happy Happy Happy Birthday To You | Hero Arts March 2025 Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hello and welcome! We’re blog hopping today to celebrate the Hero Arts March release. If you’re not already a monthly subscriber, be sure to check out all of the Hero Studio subscriptions options!

My first card features the Card Kit of the Month. This kit has bows galore and a gorgeous cover plate that creates a streamer effect that is perfect to frame a celebratory sentiment. I blended Amethyst, Ultra Pink, Pale Tomato, Dandelion, Green Apple, and Cornflower Core Inks across a 4.25″ x 5.5″ panel of Dove White cardstock. Then I used the cover die the cut another 4.25″ x 5.5″ panel of of white cardstock as well as a panel of Paradise cardstock, making sure to keep the large center fall-out piece from the Paradise panel. I glued the white cover piece over the ink-blended background and then glued the Paradise fall-out piece into the center opening.

I heat embossed and die the happy sentiment three times using white embossing powder and Paradise cardstock. I also heat embossed the smaller sentiment onto the card front. Using foam tape, I adhered the three die-cut sentiments to the card front and then I glued the card front to a card base.

It’s Your Day

My second card features the super fun Layer Stencils of the Month: It’s Your Day set. Just a few easy-to-line-up stencil layers and your choice of colors creates a fun full-A2-sized card front! For this quick card, I blended a rainbow of colors over the stencils and onto a 4.25″ x 5.5″ panel of white cardstock: Amethyst, Ultra Pink, Pale Tomato, Papaya, Dandelion, Green Apple, Cornflower, and Summer Sky. Then I used die from the Rounded Rectangles Infinity dies to trim the panel. To assemble the card, I used foam tape to adhere the stenciled panel to an Ultra Pink card base.
