Hello and welcome! It’s release day at Hero Arts and we’re celebrating the adventure-themed August release with a blog hop full of inspiration and a giveaway. If you’ve arrived from visiting Pocono Pam, you’re right on track!
Adventure lies ahead with this month’s kit. The desert southwest is your destination as you create beautiful landscapes with the kit’s layering stencils. Four ink colors are included to get you started, but a rainbow of possibilities await. Add some glistening shimmer with PearlEx powder. Hello and welcome to day two of the three-day countdown to Monday’s Hero Arts release! The awesome new kit goes live at 10am PT on August 1st!
This month’s kit has a great layering stencil set which I used here to easily create this fun southwestern scene. Rather than use the stencils as designed, I turned them over to create a mirror image of the intended scene. Then I used the coordinating die to cut out the image. I used a light shining through the panel to help make sure the die was lined up to the image correctly on the back side. This is a great way to get more out of your kit!

Hero Arts is serving up fun tropical summer vibes with this release. This month’s kit features a flock of flamingos in HeroScape form. Layer the included inks to easily stamp the gorgeous birds, create a scene with water below and clouds above, and embellish with the colorful gems or Teal Hero Pearls that round out the kit!
