December’s Card Kit Of The Month has a beautiful selection of uplifting images and dies, perfect for getting ready for the new year!

My first card features the fancy die and Reactive Ink reinkers included in the kit. To recreate this card:

Use the die to cut a piece of water color paper
Put a few drops of Fruit Punch and Lemon Drop reinkers onto a palette and then use a paint brush to paint the die cut (alternatively you could paint a piece of watercolor paper first, and then die cut it). Adding clean clear water to the reinkers helps dilute for a less intense color and can also help move the ink around on the die cut.
Splatter some Fruit Punch reinker over the die cut
Use the die to cut two pieces of heavy white cardstock
Stack and adhere the die cuts together, with the painted die cut on top; set aside
Use a blending brush to blend Aquatic Ink one end of a piece of Arctic cardstock
Use a die, the same size as the watercolored die cut, from the Infinity Circles die set to cut the ink-blended panel
Glue the watercolored die cut to the ink-blended circle
Glue the combined piece to a 4.25″ x 5.5″ card base
Stamp the sentiment, also from the kit, onto the card front

Hello There

My second card features a sweet stamped image from the 6″ x 8″ stamp set in the kit. To reproduce this card:

Stamp the image in Copic-friendly Intens-ified Black ink onto white cardstock
Color the images with Copic markers
Die cut the image with the coordinating die
Die cut a rounded rectangle from white cardstock
Use foam tape to adhere the girl with balloons to the rounded rectangle
Stamp a sentiment in black ink
Glue the card front to a Passion Flower card base
