Hello and welcome! It’s release day at Hero Arts and we’re celebrating the October collection. If you’re not already a monthly subscriber, be sure to check out all of the Hero Studio subscriptions options!
Peace On Earth
My first card features a stamp and die from the October Card Kit of the Month. I stamped the image onto watercolor paper and then used watercolors to quickly and loosely color in the image. When it was dry, I used the coordinating die to cut it out.
For the background, I used the Fancy Dies of the Month (Pine Branches & Lights) to cut a 4.25″ x 5.5″ panel of white cardstock. I let all the pieces stay together to create a simple textured panel which I glued to a card base.
To finish, I used foam tape to adhere the die cut image as well as a stamp and die cut sentiment from the same stamp set.

Joy
My second card features the Circular Grid Stencil. For this quick and easy card, I blended Pale Tomato and Paradise Core Inks over the stencil and onto white cardstock. I trimmed the panel down and then used foam tape to adhere it to a card base. Then I added a small stamped and die cut sentiment from the October Clear Set + Dies of the Month (Holiday Messages)
