Hello and welcome! It’s Simon Says Stamp release day and the new Splendor release is live in the shop!
I have a quick and easy card to share today; it features the new Fine Floral Stem Die and a few elements from the Lots Of Luck stamp set.
I started off by creating an alcohol-inked Yupo panel using Vineyard and Gumball alcohol inks. To quickly get full coverage on the panels, I added blending solution onto a panel, then a few drops of each alcohol ink color, and then I smooshed another Yupo panel on top. I pulled the panels apart and set them aside to dry. Because the alcohol ink continues to move around after the panels are separated, the colors continue to blend and create unique patterns on each panel.
When the panel was dry, I used the Fine Floral Stem Die to die cut six sets of petals and three flower centers from the panel. I also cut the stem from a piece of yellow/green cardstock. Next, to create each flower, I used glue dots to adhere two sets of petals together along with the flower center. Then I glued the purple-y pink flowers to the stem die cut.
For the background, I stamped the two layering grass stamps from the Lots Of Luck stamp set in Lemongrass and Honeycomb inks from Concord & 9th.
To assemble the card, I used foam tape and glue to adhere the floral stem to the background and then I added a sentiment from the Lots of Luck stamp set before gluing the card front to a card base.
Thank you so much for visiting!
