Hello and welcome! The new Hero Arts 2024 Spring Catalog collection is live and we’re celebrating with a blog hop full of inspiration and a giveaway. If you’d like to start from the beginning, head on over to the Hero Arts blog.
I have three cards to share today so let’s dive in!
Thinking Of You
My first card features the new Tulip Pattern layering stencils and coordinating die. I used the stencils and a collection of inks to create rainbow of tulips and then used the coordinating die to die cut several panels of white cardstock. I glued the die-cut panels together and then glued them over the stenciled panel so that the tulips appear recessed into the card. Then I stamped the sentiment and die cut it with a die from the Rounded Jewel Infinity die set. To finish, I glued the card front to a card base.
Supplies:
- Tulip Pattern Cover Plate
- Color Layering Tulip Pattern Stencils
- Rounded Jewel Infinity Dies
- Wild Flowers Stamp Set
- Dandelion Core Ink
- Tangerine Core Ink
- Azalea Core Ink
- Ultra Pink Core Ink
- Pale Tomato Core Ink
- Cherry Core Ink
- Orchid Core Ink
- Grape Juice Core Ink
- Fresh Lawn Core Ink
- Pine Core Ink
- Onyx Pigment Ink
- Dove White Cardstock

Happy Spring
My second card features a sweet bunny from the Spring Bunny bundle. I stamped it and the butterflies and then colored them with Copic markers. Then I created a background using the Decorative Strips stamp set as a background stamp. I popped the bunny up on a little pointed arch which I die cut out of the background. To finish I glued the background panel to a card base and then used foam tape to adhere the pointed arch piece as well as the sentiment.
Supplies:
- Spring Bunny Bundle
- Decorative Strips Stamp Set
- Pointed Arches Infinity Dies
- Passion Flower Core Ink
- Dusty Blue Core Ink
- Intense Black Ink (bunny and butterflies)
- Onyx Pigment Ink (sentiment)
- Dove White Cardstock
- Copic Markers

Happy Birthday
For my last card I simply glued a beautiful die cut panel over an quick and easy sprayed background. I added a sentiment and glued the card front to a card base to finish.
Supplies:
- Parquet Cover Plate
- Wild Flowers (sentiment)
- Fuchsia + Gold Two-Tone Metallic Spray
- Bright Yellow + Copper Two-Tone Metallic Spray
- Onyx Pigment Ink
- Luxe White Watercolor Paper
- Dove White Cardstock

Your bunny card really had me looking. It looked like the bunny was on a clear acrylic arch. Great job on all of these cards.
