You’re On My Mind | Simon Says Stamp Sweetheart Release

Hello, I hope you’re having a good day! I have one last card to share featuring supplies from the Simon Says Stamp’s January Sweetheart release. Can you believe it’s almost time for a new release?!

For this card I used foam blending tools to blend a background using Wilted Violet, Shaded Lilac, and Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide inks. When the panel was dry, I used Wow Embossing Pad and Hero Arts Ultra Fine Clear embossing powder to heat emboss the Regal Hearts background stamp onto it. 

Next, I used a die from the Nested Domed Arches die set to cut a window into the panel. I used foam tape to adhere the panel to a card base and then glued the arched fallout piece directly to the card base. This left a little recess into which I adhered a die cut piece made using the Love Bulb die. For this piece I die cut two bulbs from Sunshine cardstock and glued them together to create a thicker bulb.

To finish, I added a small heat-embossed sentiment made with Hero Arts White embossing powder and a stamp from the Tiny Words stamp set.
