Thanks | Altenew July 2023 Stamps, Dies, Inks, Betterpress plates and More Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hello and welcome! Today we’re celebrating the Altenew July 2023 Stamps, Dies, Inks, Betterpress plates and More release! If you arrived from visiting Rosemary Dennis, you’re right on track. Thanks

My first card features the Sketched Florals stamp and die set. I stamped the sentiment and floral outlines in Permanent Black ink and then stamped the flowers in Fuchsia, Coral Bliss, and Sunkissed. The leaves are stamped in Lime. I die cut all the pieces and set them aside.

For the background, I used the Dotted Waves die to add texture to a 4.25″ x 5.5″ panel of white cardstock. Then I used foam tape to add an abstract shape made using dies from the Pond Flowers die set. I added the floral images and sentiment using more foam tape and then I glued the card front to a card base to finish.

Sending Birthday Hugs

My second card features a large floral die cut made using the Fragrant Flowers die set. I cut the floral piece from a panel ink-blended with Seedless Preserves, Festive Berries, and Carved Pumpkin Distress Oxide inks. I die cut the floral piece twice more from white cardstock and then I stacked and adhered the three layers together to create dimension. I glued the piece to a 4.25″ x 5.5″ card base and then added the sentiment which is from the Sentiment Strips 3 stamp set.

Have A Super Day

My last card features new ink colors and a simple stenciled background with leafy die cuts.

I used the Color Blobs stencil and blending brushes to blend Coral Red, Pool, and Navy, all from the Deco Garden Fresh Dye ink pad set, onto a panel of white cardstock. I added some fern die cuts made with the Parlor Palm die set and a heat embossed sentiment. I finished by using foam tape to adhere the card front to a pink card base.
