Hello and welcome, I hope your weekend has gotten off to a nice start!
I’m so excited to be part of day one of the Simon Says Stamp Dear Friend release blog hop, and I’m very glad you’re here! If you’ve arrived from Bobbi Lemanski’s blog, you’re right on track.
My cards today feature the Proud To Be Your die set and the Painted Rainbow Cling stamp. This pull-apart cling stamp lets you easily separate each arc of the rainbow for easy multi-color stamping!
For this card, I stamped the rainbow layers in Sweets, Watermelon, Blush, Peachy, Melon, and Citrine Pawsitively Saturated inks onto a 4.25″ x 5.25″ panel of white cardstock and then trimmed 3/8″ off both the length and the width of the panel. Next, I die cut the detailed sentiment from a piece of cardstock that I’d inked up with Surf ink using a blending brush, and then I die cut the shadow layer from white cardstock. I glued the two sentiment layers together and then used foam tape to adhere it to the background panel. To finish, I used more foam tape to adhere the card from to an A2 card base.

For my second card, I stamped three arcs of the rainbow twice, rotating the panel 180 degrees in my Misti stamp positioning tool between each stamping. The colors I used were Sweets, Blush, and Cheeky. And this time, I used Cadette for the blue sentiment.
Thank you so much for visiting! Your next stop is Lorraine Aquilina. Be sure to check below for the full blog hop list and information about the giveaway and don’t forget to swing by the Simon Says Stamp blog tomorrow to kick off day 2!

Love how you show the versatility of the stamp, doesn’t have to just be a rainbow. Too often I forget to think outside the box so potential is lost. You have inspired me to find other ways to use designs. Thanks!

I like how you chose to display the rainbow. Not always the norm makes it unique. Two very nice cards.

Of all the products in this release, I was least sure how to use the ragged rainbow. Thank you for the inspiration. Your rainbow interpretation was gorgeous.
