My first card today features the Craft-A-Flower: Zinnia die set. These zinnias are so easy to put together!

I cut the layers of each flower from a variety of cardstock in a gradient of colors. I glued the layers together, cut some leaves from green cardstock, and then set the pieces aside.

Next, I cut out the sentiment using the Sweet Sentiments die set and then glued the detail layer and shadow layers together.

To assemble the card, I adhered the blooms, leaves, and sentiment to a white background that I embossed using the Arches 3D Embossing folder. Finally, I glued the card front to a card base.

My second card features the Craft-Your-Life: Engraved Motifs project kit which includes stamps, dies, coloring stencils, and an embossing folder,

I started by stamping the floral images in black ink onto white cardstock. Then I used the coloring stencils and small blending tools to color the blooms using Amethyst, Grape Agate, and Plum inks. For the leaves I used Frayed Leaf, Forest Glades, and Evergreen inks. I also stamped the sentiment in black ink.

I used the coordinating dies to cut out the floral images and the sentiment and then used foam tape to adhere them to a background made with the embossing folder included in the kit. To finish, I glued the card front to a card base.

  8. Both of your cards are wonderful. I am, however, partial to zinnias and I just love all the layered dimension of your second card. Beautiful work on both!!

  45. Both your cards are beautiful. I was curious what the Arches 3D embossing folder would look like. I like it behind your zinnias. I love your color choice for the second card. They are very soft and pretty.
