Hello and welcome, I hope you’re having a nice day!
I’m so happy to be part of day two of the Simon Says Stamp Be Creative release blog hop, and I’m very glad you’re here! If you’ve arrived from Sandi MacIver’s blog, you’re right on track.
I have two cards to share today so I’ll dive right in!

My first card features the new Parallelogram cling stamp with a bold sentiment from the new CZ Design Big Old Birthday stamp set
I started by using foam blending tools to blend Picked Raspberry, Saltwater Taffy, and Carved Pumpkin Distress Oxide inks onto a 4.25″ x 5.5″ panel of Bristol Smooth cardstock. This is my favorite cardstock for blending Distress Oxide inks.
After the panel was dry, I used Hero Arts white embossing powder and Wow! Embossing Pad to heat emboss the Parallelogram pattern onto the panel.
Next, I stamped the sentiment in Versafine Clair Nocturne ink onto a domed panel of white cardstock that I cut with a die from the Nested Domed Arches die set. I trimmed off a bit of the bottom of this piece since it was a little too tall for the sentiment. Onto the back of the sentiment piece, I taped half of a die cut I made using the Burst die and a piece of cardstock inked up with Picked Raspberry.
To finish, I used foam tape to adhere the sentiment to the background and then I glued the card front to a card base.

My second card is a quick and easy one featuring the new Mini Slimline Falling Confetti hot foil plate and a sentiment from the Big Old Birthday stamp set.
I used Spellbinders Rainbow Glimmer Foil to foil the confetti onto a panel of white cardstock. Then I stamped the sentiment and used foam tape to adhere the card front to a card base made with Lavender cardstock.
Thank you so much for visiting! I’m the last stop in the hop today, so if you want to start from the top, head over to the Simon Says Stamp Blog!

I love the colors in that first card. I don’t think I have the orange one so may need to get it now. That second cards is amazing. I love the simplicity of it, but even though its simple, it’s so striking.

I love the colors in that first card. I’m gonna have to get that Orange one because I don’t think I have that one. I love the simplicity of that second card. Even though it’s simple, it really pops.

That first card is a keeper…love the colors and geometric look! I’m not doing foiling, but the rainbow foil is very tempting. TFS these, Seeka!

Using half of the “Burst” die was pure genius!! When I write milestone birthdays on my calendar I always put ‘bursts’ just like that around the birthday to make sure I remember it’s a milestone. Your card is so inspirational!!
