Hello and welcome to day two of the three-day countdown to Monday’s Hero Arts release! The awesome new kit goes live at 10am PT on August 1st!
This month’s kit has a great layering stencil set which I used here to easily create this fun southwestern scene. Rather than use the stencils as designed, I turned them over to create a mirror image of the intended scene. Then I used the coordinating die to cut out the image. I used a light shining through the panel to help make sure the die was lined up to the image correctly on the back side. This is a great way to get more out of your kit!
To finish, I used foam tape to adhere the scene to a panel of Arctic cardstock (I blended on a bit of Aquatic ink at the top of the cardstock panel). Then I adhered the card front to a white card base.
Thank you so much for coming by and be sure to check out the Hero Arts blog for more inspiration and details about the giveaway!

Wonderful dimension. So there is the stencil and coordinating dies. SW adventure time.

Love the colors and dimension of the elements, really brings your card to life. Looks like this kit will make a great scene to add many different colors and styles.

Very pretty. Love the tip on how to die cut in an image in reverse. Love the desert scene and Monument Valley. Going to love this release.

Hi, Seeka – Your work never, ever fails to impress me! I love the colors of this, especially. The blue for the sky is PERFECT with the other colors.
