Hello, I hope you’re having a nice weekend!
Today I’m sharing a card featuring the Koi Bunch stamp and die set from Hero Arts. I really like how this school of fish nicely covers an A2-sized card front and here I’ve paired it with a background panel that I made with Hero Arts cardstock and acrylic paints.
To make the background, I started with a 4.25″ x 5.5″ panel of Arctic cardstock. I added a few drops of Salvaged Patina and Peacock Feathers Distress Paints onto my craft mat and then misted the paint drops once or twice with clean clear water. I also misted the cardstock panel and then dragged the panel through the paint. I made several passes at the paint to ensure that the panel was covered and then I set it aside to dry.
Next, I stamped the grouping of fish from the Koi Bunch stamp set in Intens-ified Black Ink onto a panel of Dove White cardstock. I used an orange and a yellow Copic marker to color in the image and then used the coordinating die to cut it out (the stamp and die set are also available as a bundle).
When the background panel was dry, I trimmed 3/8″ off both the length and width and then stamped the sentiment in Black Soot Distress Archival ink at the bottom left of the panel. I used foam tape to adhere the school of fish and then to finish the card, I used more foam tape to adhere the card front to the center of an A2 card base.
Thank you so much for visiting!

I’m telling you the truth and not being “coy” (LOL), this is a beautiful card! Thanks for sharing!
