Hello there and welcome, I’m really glad you’re here!
The new Gina K. Designs release is live (see what’s new at the moment here) and I got to play with the new One Day At A Time stamp set which also has coordinating dies. This pretty new set has two pears of different sizes as well as leaves, florals, and a texture stamp that can be used with the pear or separately for a completely different look!
I began this card by stamping the images in Copic-friendly Obsidian Amalgam ink onto white cardstock. Next, I used a range of green, yellow green, and YR27 to color the pear. I used greens to color the leaves, and used the YR27 added to green to color the stem. for the flowers, I just added some dots of red around the stamen. Then, I used the coordinating dies to cut out the images and set them aside.
For the background, I used Barely There Amalgam ink to stamp the texture twice onto a 4.25″ x 5.5″ panel of white cardstock. I stamped the sentiment in black ink and then used foam tape to adhere the pear, leaves, and flowers. To finish, I glued the card front to a card base.
Thank you so much for visiting!

Hi, Seeka – Now THAT’S a study in how to color a pear! Love it. Will check Gina’s release later today. Thanks for sharing!
