Hello and welcome, I hope you’re having a good day!

Today we’re celebrating the release of the Altenew Wild Rose Release stamp and die set! If you arrived from Jaycee’s blog, you’re right on track. To start my card today, I stamped the outline layers of the blooms and leaves in Permanent Black Ink. Then I stamped the layers of the bloom’s petals in Soft Lilac, Lavender Fields, and Deep Iris, and the used Buttercream and Chamomile for the center of the flower. For the leaves, I used Limeade, Bamboo, and Parrot. I cut out the images and set them aside.

Next, I masked off the border of an A2-sized piece of white cardstock. Using a Large Blending Tool, I blended Aqualicious ink onto the exposed area, concentrating the color at the bottom left and letting the color fade towards the opposite corner. Then I used a paintbrush to splatter a bit of Jet Black Ink Spray over the panel. I removed the mask and then stamped the sentiment in black pigment ink.

To assemble the card, I adhered the leaves and black and white flowers with glue dots and then adhered the purple bloom with foam tape. Then I adhered the card front to a card base.
