Today we’re celebrating the release of the Altenew Paint-A-Flower: White Swan Echinacea Outline Stamp Set! If you arrived from Nenette Madero‘s blog, you’re right on track. I started by stamping the floral image in Copic-friendly Permanent Black ink onto a 4.25″ x 5.5″ panel of Neenah Solar White Classic Crest cardstock. Then I did some very easy coloring, using W5, E40 and E43 for the white petals and G85, YG17, and YG61 for the leaves. For the centers of the flowers, I dotted G82, YG01, Y19, and YR09 in rough circles. I stamped the sentiment in black pigment ink and then trimmed about 3/8″ off the length and the width of the panel.

To create a textured frame for the image, I used the Diamond Stars 3D embossing folder to a 4.25″ x 5.5″ panel of white cardstock. I added double-sided tape to the back of the floral panel and then adhered it to the embossed panel. To finish, I adhered the card front to a card base.
