Hi there and welcome to day three of the countdown to tomorrow’s Hero Arts release! This month’s theme is magical and today I’m sharing a card featuring the new My Monthly Hero kit. The kit and add-ons (and this link) go live tomorrow morning at 10am PT!
I started off my card by stamping a variety of images from the kit in Copic-friendly Intens-ified Black ink onto Dove White cardstock. This little napping gnome captured my heart! I colored the greens in YG01, YG03, and YG25, the reds in R21, R22, and R35, his blue outfit in B21, B23, and B26, and the lillies of the valley in Y11. I used the coordinating dies to cut out the images and then set them aside.
Next, I used a blending brush to blend Cornflower ink onto another a small piece of white cardstock, concentrating the color at one end and letting it fade out a bit towards the other. Using a die from the Nesting Circle Infinity die set, I cut out a small circle from the ink-blended piece.
Next, I stamped the sentiment in Onyx pigment ink onto a 4″ x 5.25″ panel of Dove White.
To assemble the card, I used foam tape to adhere the napping gnome onto the blue ink-blended circle and then used more foam tape to adhere it to the sentiment panel. Then I tucked in the foliage around and under the circle, trimming the base of each piece of foliage as needed, and adding a bit of glue to the bottom of each piece to hold them in place. To finish, I used foam tape to adhere the panel to an A2-sized piece of Pebble cardstock which I then adhered to a white cars base.
Thank you so much for visiting!

How cute it the little gnome laying in the hammock strung between the two stalks of lily of the valley! I like the way you spotlighted it on the card Seeka.

Love the lily of the valley stamps, and love them in “real life,” too. The little guy in the hammock makes a heartwarming scene.
