Hello and welcome!

Today we’re celebrating the release of a giant stamp set from Altenew. The new Majestic Bouquet Stamp Set is a jaw-dropping 8”x11” and is also available bundled with dies! I started off my card by stamping the outline layers of blooms and leaves in Permanent Black ink onto white cardstock. Then I stamped the petals of the blooms in Frosty Pink, Pink Pearl, and Coral Berry. For the centers of the blooms, I used Butternut and Chamomile. Next, I stamped the layers of the leaves in Dew Drops and Sea Breeze. Then I cut out all of the images.

I heat embossed the sentiment in white embossing powder onto black cardstock and then trimmed it into a strip with an angle at one end.

Next, I adhered Delicate Polka Dots Washi Tape along one side of a 4.25″ x 5.5″ panel of white cardstock. Then, using glue, adhesive dots, and foam tape for a variety of dimension, I adhered the leaves and blooms. To finish, I adhered the sentiment with foam tape and then adhered the card front to a card base.

  34. Love the card you’ve made! Wonderful colored used. Wow that is a huge stamp set! That layering is really realistic and so cool!

  44. I love soft subtle colors and these are beautiful. The simple unobtrusive gold dot washi tape was a great tough and using it on the long side of the card really elongated the beauty of the floral arrangement. Great layout. Love that you put the sentiment backing in black.
