Hello there, I hope you’re having a nice day!
We’re celebrating the Altenew Wildflower Paper Crafting Collection Release! If you arrived from Kim Jeffress’ blog, you’re right on track. If you want to hop along from the beginning, visit the Altenew Blog. Check the bottom of this post for giveaway information and the full blog hop list.
I have rarely, if ever, used patterned paper and ephemera in my cards before so I had so much fun playing around with these pretty papers and images!
I have two cards share, both feature combinations of these three products:
- Wildflower Paper Crafting Collection 6×6 Paper Pack
- Wildflower Paper Crafting Collection Pink Posy Ephemera
- Wildflower Paper Crafting Collection Bitty Bits Ephemera

For both cards today, the only thing that I created myself were the two ink-blended ombre peach panels that I used as backgrounds for the ephemera pieces. To create them, I used a Large Bending Tool to blend Pastel Sunrise Crisp Dye Ink onto one end a 4.25″ x 5.5″ inch panel of white cardstock, letting the color fade to white as I reached about two-thirds of the way up the panel. Then I blended Rouge Crisp Dye Ink over the Pastel Sunrise, concentrating the color at the bottom of the panel.
For the card above, I trimmed one panel to about two inches wide and then adhered it to an A2-sized piece of patterned paper. Then I adhered the floral piece and the sentiment with foam tape and finished by adhere the card front to a card base. So easy!
For the card below, I trimmed my second ink-blended panel to about 3.75″ x 5″ and used foam tape to adhere it to an A2-sized piece of green patterned paper. Then I adhered a floral piece at the bottom left of the panel with foam tape. I trimmed the round circular piece so that I had two separate pieces, one of which I saved for another time. I used glue dots to adhere the other arc to the panel, with its ends tucked under the corner floral piece. Then I added the two flower buds and the sentiment, all with foam tape, before adhere the card front to a card base.

Thank you so much for coming by! Your next stop in the hop is Zinia Redo!

I’m a patterned paper Junkie and like to use ephemera when my Mojo is gone and I need a quick card……so this collection is right up my alley. Well Done for having a play at using them in your projects.
