Hello there, I hope your day is going well!
The new Gina K. Designs release is live and I’m excited to have gotten to play with the new Always Roses stamp set from the collection. Check out what’s new in the shop!
I started off by stamping the large bloom and leaves in Copic-friendly Obsidian Amalgam Ink onto white cardstock. Then I took my time coloring the bloom using RV000, RV52, RV63, and RV69. I decided to leave the leaves white for a bold and graphic look.
For the background, I masked off the borders of an A2-sized piece of white cardstock and then used a blending brush to blend Turquoise Sea ink over the exposed center of the panel, concentrating the color at the bottom of the panel and fading to white at the top. I removed the mask and then stamped the sentiments in black ink.
To assemble the card, I adhered the leaves and the rosebud at their bases with glue dots and then used a bit of foam tape underneath their tips to add a bit of dimension. Then I used more foam tape to adhere the big bloom. To finish, I adhered the card front to a card base.
Thank you so much for swinging by!

So pretty!! I’ll have to visit Gina’s site and see this new release.
