Hi there, I hope you’re having a nice day and keeping warm!
Hero Arts and Reverse Confetti have partnered up to create a new collaboration stamp set and today we’re celebrating with a blog hop and giveaway. If you’ve arrived from Mindy Eggen’s blog, you’re right on track. If you’d like to start from the beginning, head on over to the Hero Arts blog!
I started off my graphic floral card by stamping the three bodies of the blooms from the Hero Arts + Reverse Confetti Better Together stamp set in shades of red and pink onto a 4.25″ x 5.5″ panel of Dove White cardstock. The colors I used, from left to right, are Ruby, Pale Tomato, and Fresh Peach. I let the ink dry for a bit and then used a pattern stamp from the set to heat emboss the texture onto the flowers, using Clear Embossing & Watermark Ink and White Satin Pearl embossing powder.
Next, I stamped the black elements in Intens-ified Black ink. For the tallest flower on the left, for which the stem stamp isn’t quite long enough, I first stamped the stem connected to the bloom and then stamped again at the bottom of the panel, overlapping the stamp with the already stamped stem. I used a white gel pen to add some dots to the anthers.
Next, I heat embossed the sentiment onto Pitch Black cardstock using white embossing powder
To assemble the card, I first trimmed the panel to 4″ x 5.25″ before using foam tape to adhere it to an A2-sized panel of Pitch Black cardstock. Then I used foam tape to adhere the sentiment. To finish, I adhered the card front to a card base.
Thank you so much for swinging by! Your next stop is the talented Amy Kolling! Be sure to read below for giveaway details as well as to view the full blog hop list.
