I started off by stamping the rose and three sets of leaves onto Neenah Solar White 80# Classic Crest cardstock. The outline layer is Permanent Black Crisp Dye ink for both the rose and leaves. I stamped the three layers of the rose petals in Baby Pink, Fuchsia, and Magenta, and the two layers of the leaves in Limeade and Lime inks. I cut out the images using the coordinating dies and then set thema side.

For the background, I used a large ink blending brush to blend Baby Pink ink onto the top left and bottom right corners of an A2-sized piece of Neenah Solar White. I love this style of blending brush; I’ve never been able to get a smooth fade out to white with any other style! Next, I trimmed the about a quarter of an inch off each side of the panel (I like to trim after I ink blend because it removes any darker buildup of color along the edge of the panel) and then I stamped the sentiment in black ink.

To assemble the card, I used foam tape to adhere the rose to the bottom right of the ink-blended panel. Then I tucked in two sets of leaves, adhering them with Zots Bling adhesive dots. I snipped off a single leaf from the third set of leaves I’d stamped and tucked that in as well. Finally, I adhered the card front to an A2-sized card base with foam tape.
