Hi there!
I have just a tiny bit of coloring to share for day 20 of The Daily Marker’s 30-day Coloring Challenge. I pulled out the Cute Food set from Elizabeth Craft Designs and added some Fine Frames from Altenew to create this quick, clean, and simple card.
I started by stamping the orange friends in Copic-friendly Hero Arts Intense Black ink onto a Neenah Solar White 80# Classic Crest cardstock. I used Y17, YR16, and YR18 to color the orange. I used the same colors for the slice and added a bit of Y23 for the pith. I also did a bit of stippling with YR18 to add some dot details to each of the little guys. I used the coordinating die to cut them out and then I set them aside.
I created the frame with the Altenew Fine Frames Cover Die. This die cuts out a bunch (13!) fine frames all at once. I kept five of the frames together, using a bit of clear tape on the back to keep them from separating. I decided to add some orange splatter by mixing red and yellow gouaches from an inexpensive gouache set from Michael’s. I used a round paint brush to splatter the frames and then I adhered them to an A2-sized card base.
I stamped the sentiment, also from the Cute Food stamp set, in Versafine Clair Nocturne ink, and then I used foam tape to adhere the oranges. To finish, I adhered the card front to an A2-sized card base.
Thanks so much for comin gby!
