I just love this bunny from Honey Bee Stamps’ Blah Humbunny stamp set. Today I’ve paired it with the Coffee by One Little Bird stamp set from Studio Calico to create this card that perfectly captures how I usually feel on Monday mornings.
I started by stamping the bunny and coffee cup onto Neenah Solar White #80 Classic Crest cardstock using Copic-friendly Hero Arts Intense Black ink. I did some basic coloring using E31 and E35 for the bunny’s fur, E30 for the bunny’s foot pads and inner ears, and E50, E53, B32, and B34 for the coffee cup. I filled in the bunny’s eyes with a black Saruka Glaze pen and then added little white dots with a white Sakura Gelly Roll pen. Then I cut out the images using a Brother ScanNCut2 and set them aside.
For the card front I trimmed another piece of Neenah Solar White to 4″ x 5.25″ and stamped the sentiment in Versafine Black Onyx ink. I adhered the bunny and then popped up the coffee cup using foam tape. Finally, I adhered the card front to an A2-sized card base to finish up today’s card.
