Thank You Cards, Thanksgiving Cards

So Thankful | Hero Arts September 2022 Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hello and welcome! It’s release day at Hero Arts and we’re celebrating the fall-themed September release with a blog hop full of inspiration and a giveaway. If you’ve arrived from visiting Pocono Pam, you’re right on track!

Autumn is a whisper in the air, with hints of cooler weather, falling leaves, and rich colors. The September My Monthly Hero release takes an elegant path into fall, featuring a gorgeous vase of fall blooms as the focal point for your cards and projects. There’s also a fun new element this month – rub-ons! Use them for quick and easy cards; the coordinating die in the kit perfectly cuts out the rub-on floral arrangement as well as the stamped images. Or try the rub-ons on any smooth surface. The kit is rounded out with a gorgeous new cling stamp, metallic floss and the perfect neutral cardstocks for stamping your autumn-inspired creations.

For my card, I used blending brushes and Lemon Drop, Creamsicle, Fruit Punch, and Berry Smoothie Reactive inks to create an ink-blended background. Then I stamped elements from the stamp set in Onyx pigment ink before trimming the panel down to 4″ x 5.25″ and adhering it to a card base.

My second card features the new Leafy Branches Hot Foil Plate. I used a copper colored foil to hot foil the leafy image onto a panel of Nautical cardstock which I’d cut with a die from the Rounded Rectangles Infinity die set. I added some jewels as well as a sentiment made using the Grateful Words die set. To finish, I adhered the panel to Periwinkle cardstock card base.

Thank you so much for visiting! Your next stop is the lovely Jennifer Kotas! Be sure to read below for giveaway details.

  1. Both cards are lovely but I am hooked on blending so I really love your first card with the beautiful blended fall colors and gold embossing. Very elegant !

  2. Dear Seeka – Your ink-blended background card looks so pretty with that silhouetted or black-ink-only stamp atop it. Lovely! Your second card literally took my breath away! Love the color play and the beautiful paper you used to cut out the sentiment. The foiling is beautiful. TFS – always a pleasure to see your work.
