I’m so excited to be part of day one of the Simon Says Stamp Season Of Wonder release blog hop, and I’m very glad you’re here! If you’ve arrived from Kim Hamilton’s blog, you’re right on track.

My card today features the Fresh Air Fall Flowers stamp set (also available with coordinating dies). I used a variety of Pawsitively Saturated inks to stamp the images:

  • Lemonade and Sunbeam for the yellow flower petals
  • Fawn and Cappuccino for the centers of the yellow flowers
  • Sherbet for the orange flowers with Mocha for their centers
  • Sage and Pine for the leaves, with Sage for the stems of the Sherbet flowers

I used a frame die from the A2 Marquee die set to cut the panel with the orange flowers and then stamped a sentiment from the stamp set in black ink. Next, I cut out the yellow flowers and the leaves.

To assemble the card, I used foam tape to adhere the flowers to the marquee panel and then used more foam tape to adhere the panel to a 4.25″ x 5.5″ panel of sage cardstock. Finally, I glued the card front to a card base.

  17. Beautiful sunny flowers. As we’re heading into winter, this card reminds me of Spring, and I really need that reminder that it’s coming back 😀

  35. This really is the set I’m most excited for in this release. And this is a great example of the different ways it can be used. Leaving some of the flowers on the focal panel and propping others up is such a great design. Thanks so much for sharing.

  50. Dear Seeka – I had such a ball with the first / regular Fresh Air Flowers (thanks to Kristina for that set) that I am sure I will end up ordering this version sooner or later. Love your card!!
