Hello and welcome! It’s release day at Hero Arts and we’re celebrating the September release with a blog hop and a giveaway. If you’ve arrived from visiting Pocono Pam, you’re right on track!
The September release includes one of Hero Arts’ most popular product combinations – a window die with coordinating layering stencils! In this beautiful fall-themed kit, the window is decorated with leaves and mushrooms, ideal for the autumn season. The kit’s 4×6 stamp set features decorated script messages which can nestle perfectly within the window. There are four ink cubes to use with the layering stencils, and a white lacquer pen for adding spots to your mushrooms – or for any other creative ideas you may have! And calling all shaker card aficionados – there are clear card panels in the kit, too.
The Premium Kit includes additional elements to extend the potential for more cards and techniques – even more Creativity In The Box! In addition to all of the Classic Kit components, the highlight of the expanded kit is a 4″ x 6″ stamp set with adorable dancing critters. Use the images individually, or build a scene of them dancing around a bonfire in a pumpkin patch on a crisp fall evening! There are coordinating dies for the stamps as well as extra leaf and mushroom dies. Take your coloring up a notch by trying Hero Arts Contour Ink, helpful for “no line” coloring. The Premium Kit is rounded out with two sheets of shimmery Bronze Glitter Paper.

Autumn Greetings
My card features elements from the Classic Kit. I cut the frame die from a 4.25″ x 5.5″ panel of Papaya cardstock and then used the layering stencils, blending brushes, and Papaya, Crimson, and Caramel inks to color in the image. I also added a bit of copic marker to deepen and add shading to the mushroom tops.
To finish off the card, I ombre stamped the sentiment in Papaya and Crimson inks onto a 4.25″ x 5.5″ panel of white cardstock and then I used foam tape to adhere the window piece over top. Then I glued the card front to a card basel.

Sending You Mush Love
My second card features the Ginkgo Leaves Pattern Bold Prints background stamp and the Hello Fungi stamp and die bundle.
I stamped the background in Butter Bar ink onto a 4.25″ x 5.5″ panel of white cardstock that I’d lightly sprayed with a yellow ink spray (this one happens to be Dylusions Pure Sunshine).
Next, I stamped the mushroom image and sentiment in Intens-ified Black Ink and then colored in the image using Copic markers. I die cut both pieces out and then used foam tape to adhere them to the background panel. To finish, I glued the card front to a card base.
Thank you so much for visiting! Your next stop is Essie. Be sure to read below for giveaway details!
